A Little Bit About Me
I am a single mum of 4 children who live with me in Birmingham. My kids are mixed race (half Indian half African) in case that’s an issue for anyone.

Personality-wise I’ve been described by others as caring, patient, loving, kind and respectful. I’m more of an introvert and quite reserved in public. At home I can become a kid with my kids, and at times talk a lot if I happen to have a lot to say. But I’m more of a listener than a chatterbox.

I’d say I’m a simple person, I don’t ask others for things and don’t demand. I try to be forgiving as possible and don’t judge others.

I do take my deen seriously, I pray 5x, I don’t lie or cheat, and generally stick to the do’s and don’ts according to Quran and Sunnah.

I’ve studied academically up to Masters level here in the UK. I’ve worked as a researcher prior to having kids but stopped work to focus on bringing up my children. I’m not a feminist, I oppose what they stand for. A woman has her own unique role as does a man. I’m proud to be the one who has taught my kids how to read and write, and more importantly read the Quran and know how to pray Alhamdulillah. Ideally would not want to work after marriage.

I do have quite a busy lifestyle as I homeschool my 4 children and give them quite a lot of my time.

We have also travelled and lived in various countries over the years including Egypt and Turkey. A believer is like a traveller in this world, and I still have a lot more places on my list inshaAllah. :-)

What I Am Looking For
If a man is firm on his deen and has a good character then the woman has no reason to refuse marriage. This is essentially what I’m looking for.

Without deen there is no real purpose to marriage. If Allah is not in the equation there will be no peace in that home.

A good character in my opinion is someone who is honest and truthful, keeps to his word, is the best to his wife and family, provides for her, is loving and affectionate, merciful and caring.

I’m not looking for money or status. I need someone with a pure heart ❤️

No relationship can be compared to the relationship between a husband and wife. I’ve been through it once and I can honestly say that no human being can ever replace the position of a husband in the eyes of a wife. I’m waiting for that emptiness to be filled again, this time with the right person inshaAllah
